Where To Watch Lucas Oil Pro Motocross from Within South Africa
2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Series and by now you will most likely have heard that two legends of the sport, Ryan Dungey and Antonio Cairoli, will be coming out of retirement to take part in the opening races of the season. Both riders will be racing for the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, and this marks Caroli’s first time ever competing in US motocross events.
Now you're probably wondering how you can go about watching it. Well, we've got some good news for you: this year's Pro Motocross events will be live-streamed online by MAVTV Plus which means that you'll be able to live-stream the races from within South Africa along with other great motorsport content streaming on the channel. A monthly subscription will set you back US$6.99p/m (~ZAR120p/m*), while an annual subscription will cost US$99 (~ZAR1600*).
The season's opening race kicks off at 4PM US Eastern Time (EST) on the 28th of May which is 10PM in South Africa (SAST) and the the practice heat for this race will be airing at 1PM EST (7PM SAST) the same day in case you would like to catch every last bit of action. With all of the main events set to air on Saturday evenings in South African time this would be a great opportunity to get some friends together to watch the races with a few brews.
