SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
Any information provided by you, is solely used for the purpose of providing a particular product or service to you via an online platform. GO-MX, will under no circumstances, other than stated in this document, sell or disclose your information to any other party. Where applicable, and only with your permission, we will send you marketing materials regarding our store, new products, or other necessary notifications and updates.
SECTION 2 - CONSENT
"How do we get your consent?"
When providing us with any personal information used to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, return a purchase, or in general correspondence; it is implied that you consent to the collection and use of your given information, in order to process the applicable action. Where we may require your personal information for any secondary reason, we will provide you with a request to do so, and you will have the opportunity to decline such requests.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information to a third-party, if we are required to do so by law, or where applicable Terms of Service may have been violated.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to supply products and services to users. Any data used in store transactions is securely stored on Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application and protected by SSL security protocols.
When choosing a direct payment gateway to complete online transactions, Shopify will temporarily store your credit card data, via an encrypted process. Once completed, the transaction information is automatically deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard), managed by the PCI Security Standards Council (a joint effort by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of all credit card information provided to our store, and its service providers. SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, third-party providers used by GO-MX, will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary for the successful completion of any matter relating to services provided. Certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, may have their own privacy policies applying to online services. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with these privacy policies, where applicable. Please note that all payments made through Payfast will be named as such on your bank/credit card statement.
Certain providers may also be located in, or have facilities that are located in, a different jurisdiction. When electing to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of such a third-party service provider, it is important to understand that your information and use of the third-party's website may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s), in which that service provider, or its facilities are located.
When following links from our website to associated, or third-party sites, please note that GO-MX cannot take responsibility for the service, content or privacy practices of such associated, or third-party sites.
SECTION 5.1 - GOOGLE
GO-MX makes use of advertising and analytics tools provided by Google and its subsidiaries. All data supplied to GO-MX through these channels is received in a hashed format. No personally identifiable or traceable information is supplied to GO-MX by Google or their partners.
SECTION 5.2 - TAPCART
GO-MX makes use of a third-party supplier, Tapcart, to host and distribute the GO-MX mobile shopping app. Tapcart collects user data strictly for the sake of app functionality.

The GO-MX mobile app, which is hosted by Tapcart, receives hashed information from Facebook for functionality. For more information, see section 5.3 below.
SECTION 5.3 - FACEBOOK
GO-MX makes use of tracking technology supplied by Facebook and its subsidiaries. This data is received and processed in a hashed format. No personally identifiable information is supplied to GO-MX or any of its channels by Facebook.
You may request the deletion of this information by visiting your Facebook profile and clicking the Send Request button on the Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites page. You will be provided with a confirmation number and a link where you will find information on the status of your request. At no point in this removal process will your personal information be shared with GO-MX.
Information gathered by Facebook is used for the following purposes:
- Account sign-in on the GO-MX mobile shopping app hosted by Tapcart.
- Completing contact information on the GO-MX mobile shopping app hosted by Tapcart.
- Advertising on Facebook owned social media channels and the Facebook media network.
SECTION 6 - SECURITY
To help keep your personal information from being inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed, GO-MX has taken every reasonable precaution. Wherever applicable, we have followed industry best practices, and have complied with PCI-DSS requirements and encryption standards.
SECTION 7 - COOKIES
Cookies are small files, stored locally on your hard drive and provide information unique to your access and use of a specific website. Here is a list of cookies that we use. You can choose to opt-out of using cookies, if you wish to do so.
_session_id, unique token: sessional. Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit: no data held, persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit. Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker, to record the number of visits.
_shopify_uniq: no data held, expires midnight the following day (relative to the visitor). Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
_cart, unique token: persistent for 2 weeks. Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token: sessional.
_storefront_digest, unique token: indefinite. If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
SECTION 8 - AGE OF CONSENT
By using this site, you declare that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or that you as a parent, or legal guardian, have given consent to allow a minor, or individual under the age of eighteen (18) to use this site.
SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon being published on the website. Site users will be notified if any material changes are made to this policy, but we ask that you do review it frequently to make sure you understand any information applicable to you.
Should our store ever be acquired, or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners in an effort to continue providing available products and services to you.
